Meeting the Wolfe Man in person & had the BEST DAY EVER
I finally meet the Wolfe Man aka David Wolfe on Saturday & was utterly mesmerised by his energy, knowledge, passion & vitality.
David spoke & inspired approximately 450 people at a full day seminar on Saturday in Brisbane.
The range of topics was incredible from medicinal mushrooms to the power of hemp protein to levity & tinctures, a waltz through the periodic table to enzymes..the guy's knowledge is amazing.
Best of all was the Naked Chocolate recipe book (complete with signing picture)..gotta be a groupie at times.
Can't wait to try the recipes!
As David said repeatedly
'Entertain the possibilities'

I'm back & angry!@
Where has the last 2 months gone..I can't believe my last post was on Sept 25th...been involved in a lot since the last post including participating in the Pan Pacific Masters Games which was great fun...12000 people in 39 different sports..great fun & proves again that age is no barrier to having fun & being active...
Why am I angry.........because of a newspaper article about diabetes in Mexico....it seems Mexico like Australia and several other developed countries are facing a major health crisis in the next 10 years.
According to the article 20% of females & 25% of males are believed to be at risk of diabetes....
It is already the nations #1 killer killing around 70000 people last year..more than gang/drug related violence...so how come peole get worked up about the amout of deaths from gang violence and less excited about dying from diabetes..which is a slow & very painful way to die...
About 150000 Mexican's receive dialysis daily and about the same number are refused treatment because they don't have insurance..imagine waiting 12 days for a dialysis treatment..how bad would the kidneys be damaged...
So it is a race to the bottom it seems..which disease care system will collapse first due to the demand for dialysis, kidney transplants & all the other associated complications from a preventive disease...
On a positive note...I am offering the Eat It Program developed by Diabetes Queensland for anyone interested in taking a positive step towards a healthier lifestyle.

Getting better each day.
